La Cusina Restaurant's cuisine concept is based on the rediscovery of ancient dishes from the Venetian islands and the Veneto mainland: fish and a large variety of meat preparations, rice and the classical polenta; fresh pasta homemade daily in both traditional and creative forms. All ingredients are strictly fresh with particular attention given to seasonality. With over 200 different labels, La Cusina Restaurant's wine cellar is truly exceptional, and represents one of the largest selections of national and international wines in Venice. La Cusina's indoor restaurant is made up of three intimate and welcoming dining areas, each decorated in unique, characteristic styles, and each rewarding patrons with unparalleled views across the Grand Canal from large windows and doors. A distinguishing feature of La Cusina Restaurant is its open kitchen, unique in Venice and one of the few in Italy. When the weather turns warm, outdoor dining takes centre stage: meals are served on the La Cusina Restaurant terrace overlooking the Grand Canal, offering diners breathtaking views of the beautiful Italian Baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute, directly opposite, and of the Grand Canal as it leads into St. Mark's Basin on level with the masterful façade of the San Giorgio Maggiore Church. Catering to up to 110 patrons, La Cusina restaurant opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended. Special dietary meals are available on request.
